Crabgrass control is applied to perform like a blanket. It covers your lawn and doesn’t let seeds germinate. The curbs and sidewalk areas heat up more from the adjacent surfaces causing the soil to crack and allow seeds to germinate. Water these areas more often to help keep them moist.
Why do I have dandelions appearing after you treat the lawn?
Dandelions and other broadleaf weeds are controlled by contact. If they aren’t growing when we treat your lawn they can’t be eliminated.
Where do grubs come from?
Japanese beetles lay their eggs in your lawn and begin to hatch. Beginning their life cycle resulting in the adults eating the roots of your grass causing the grass to die if not treated.
How much water should we be applying to our lawn?
A typical lawn needs about 1 inch of water a week.
What height should I mow my lawn?
Research and experience has showed 3 inches to be optimum.
How often should I mow?
When your lawn needs it. Never mow more than 1/3 of the grass blade.
When I walk on my lawn it has a spongy feel?
Your lawn probably has excessive thatch. It can be reduced with dethatching and/or core aeration.
How do I treat my dog spots in our lawn?
There is no magic cure, but if you soak the areas you will flush the acidity out bringing the pH back to a more favorable growing condition.
